News Forum - Public CNG bus safety inspections launched by DLT
"The initiative highlights the DLT’s commitment to ensuring the safety of public transportation. The department is adamant that non-compliant vehicles be swiftly addressed to avoid endangering passengers." What a shame that same "commitment to ensuring the safety of public transportation" wasn't in place before a busload of kids were killed in a bus fire recently which is the ONLY reason this 'initiative' (which I am sure will fizzle out in a few weeks) has been instigated! -

Once again poorly maintained large vehicle causes what could have been a serious accident, if only there was some regular enforcement of safety of these vehicles! -

I agree most Thais view it as a way of life, I disagree that they view it as neither bad nor good, all of the Thais I know and have ever known have viewed it as bad. -

What did you listen to today?
Terrible! On a related note, I recently fell upon Rolling Stone's "50 Most Disappointing Albums of All Time". Some I agree with (such as Oasis' unbearably overproduced Be Here Now), but I disagree with Chinese Democracy which I think is a great album (but I would say it is an Axl Rose solo album rather than a Guns N' Roses one).
