So they allegedly tried to extort him but failed. Big pair on them to go after a cop. Twice. Defense is easy for both cases and this one when there is no evidence. -

News Forum - Knife-wielding man shot during Kathu standoff
He should never have been let out of jail after killing his grandmother years ago. And never listen to any woke liberal who complains 'why didn't the Police use the taser instead of killing him'. This Thai guy is not a big man and yet he was able to 'ignore' the taser shot and keep attacking the policemen. Imagine someone twice as big coming at you with a knife - probably lucky than one of the police had his gun out and when the taser failed he was able to shoot him in the leg. But I must say - a chest shot would have been a more ideal decision - best for everyone me thinks. -

Amazing - not one word in the story about Muslims or Islam. Seems even in Thailand it is not allowed to accuse radical Muslims of committing blatant acts of terrorism. Not sure what the solution is down there, but from what I have seen in my over 6 decades here on this planet, if Thailand gives the Malay-Muslims the southern regions, some years later they will want more. -

Private messages must remain confidential: Vote against the EU Chat Control!
I am OK with 'security agencies' being able to access anyone's messages in the line of duty. However, this basic centralised EU agency 'review' of all messaging and referral to police of anything thought to be 'suspicious' is totally wrong and is an invasion of privacy. Not only that (which is enough), it will also incur a massive resource drain on the police who are already stretched, because most of the reports will be 'nothing'. And on top of that, the social stigma of having a Police visit could have you labelled as a paedophile or domestic abuser. Only ignorant out of touch woke progressive public servants could think this was a good idea - and there are a lot of them in the EU.- 1
