Same same - another great story for 'quality tourists' to come to Thailand. If Thailand didn't shoot itself in the foot all the time, they would not hit a thing.

Bang Saen is a funny old place. Pretty much dead during the week and absolutely heaving to the rafters on any long weekend. 

I couldn’t think of a less enjoyable tourist beach in Thailand to spend a long weekend.

I just had a look on Google maps and all I could see was flip'n beach unbrellas.  

So nothing to see here, move along. 

I'd rather head to the islands down Krabi way,  good snorkeling and diving.
