So now, the veggies and Vegans have a festival?  When do we 'normal folk' get a festival?

Does anyone ever do any research???

It's not new nor is it "woke"

It's been going on, in some capacity, for over 200 years

When, under the dear Sun, would I be at all interested, or motivated,  to research Vegetarian Festivals?   In any event, that was not my point.  My point was where are our 'everyone here is normal'  festivals?

Jesus Christ

It's a religious event that goes back 200 fxuking years

Your point was to complain about a woke festival

And you were 100% wrong and of course, now won't admit it

Calm down Karen, Who gives a monkeys toss how long its been going on, that was not the point, that clearly buzzed happily over your head.  This started off as a bit of a joke, but your reaction has elevated it to a  historical denunciation of religious festivals. I wasn't complaining about a, in your words, woke festival, my comment on that festival is related to the lack of festivals for 'normal' folk, not fringe groups in society. It was not particularly Thailand related.

I went there in 2012. I didn't find it too exciting, but then again I am a big meat eater so what did I expect 😆

Even tried the "no meat for 1 week" thing… Unbearable, lasted 3 days.

My wife does the "no meat " sporadically through the year

So does mine (practising Buddhist and not into eating animals, so it's more of an ethics/moral thing than anything else), but I have managed to convince her over time that she needs non-veg protein and she agrees, as she noticed a difference in overall strength/energy when she cuts it out. So now she does it on and off and will look for organic sources with (at least that's what they say) more humane treatment of animals.

You could always start your own food and whine festival.

He wanted to make a statement against a "woke" festival

Did zero research and looked like an idiot but of course won't admit he was wrong
