An interesting selection.  When I return from a trip to NZ I'm going to try and get around all these areas, except CM.

I lived there for 6 years so it's nothing new to me.

Currently in Korat but need to see more.... Even the deep troubled South.

Wife grew up in one (Samut Prakan)

We bought a house in another (Nonthaburi)

My son went to University in another ( Pathum Thani)

Have been to all 10 and pretty indicative list, though I would’ve thought Prachuap Khiri Khan and Phuket might make the cut. I wonder what metric they fell down on.

Nonthaburi gets in - no disputing that - but I would say that that Pak Kret is the ugliest, dirtiest town in the whole country 😂

Chiang Rai I found so drab

We left early after 2 days

I like Hua Hin but really dislike that busy main road through the town

Only 1 busy road. Rai is more about the province I guess.

Khon Kaen and Udon have grown on me. Chiang Mai has better food though.

Not really

When traffic is bad it backs up other roads near the train station

But even that one busy road

You will be on that road a lot

And my wife once famously said about a very busy ride from Phuket airport

"Phuket make me lose my relax" 555

That main road in Hua Hin makes me lose my relax!   😀

I like Hua Hin

I think it has one of the better walkable areas in Thailand in that sort of square/area around the Hilton

And although I was never looking for girls(was with wife and kid, MIL and dog!) I loved that Binbaht bar area

I loved the set up

I just really really hate that main road
