I certainly wouldn't join in any sort of walk

Not my thing 

 

But there are all types of voting drives, by both parties 

 

And a lot of Americans outside of America don't vote

This is a way to highlight that they can and should

 

No different than any other vote drive

And while I'm not a Democrat, I think it's a good statement.

Seriously Marc? Would not an event, such as a presentation outside the Embassy, be sufficient? Why do they have to do a public walk/march?  Given you also dislike such things, perhaps you need to reconsider what type of people you are supporting 😉  But I can understand why they are doing it - they are desperate for as many votes as they can get. No doubt a few thousand 'extra' ballots will be mailed in??
