Investigate this... all roads concerning flooding can be traced back to this and the mismanagement of the flood control system in order to fulfill a stupid promise that Bangkok would not flood... sacrifice all else is the motto...  In related news, Thailand Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra assured the public that Bangkok will remain safe from flooding, noting that the current rainfall levels are significantly lower than those experienced during the devastating floods of 2011.
