And then they wonder why school children are killed on these death trap buses!

"They explained that long queues formed between January and June, as officials were only able to inspect 10 vehicles per day and were unavailable on weekends and public holidays."

Better to do a time study on the efficiency of the inspection process. Looks like the officials have to strip arpart the vehichles for inspection and reassemble back after inspection to its original condition.
