Does anyone know if a person can switch hospitals for a second dose of vaccine?

I registered back in July and did get an appointment at Pythai 2 in Bangkok.  On July 23, I got my first jab of Astra Zeneca and my second is scheduled for October 15.  I see now lots of sign up's for vaccines including Pfizer.  I live in Pattaya so it would be nice to not have to make the drive to Bangkok.   I don't mind waiting for the second jab but if I had my choice I would prefer the second one to be either Pfizer or Moderna.   Does anyone know if you can opt for a second dose at one of the Pattaya hospitals or alternatively change the location of the second dose from a Bangkok Hospital to one in Pattaya.  I got the government jab so they did not charge me.

Think that would be near impossible.  If the Thais had a real health system that was connected nationally you would have a chance, they don't, so bad luck.

You will be surprised to learn that there is some connectivity with records on the vaccination system. I went to an appointment at Bang Sue for my first AZ jab and at the final registration stage the girl found that I had already registered.......that must have been from MedPark.

I don't know, I see on all the sign ups it states it is for the first dose of vaccine and I am attesting that I have not received any.  I don't want to chance difficulties by stating something that is not true.  Heck, if the vaccines were available in Pattaya I would pay for my jab.  Far easier to do that then the 6 hour round trip to Bangkok.
