Maybe we should have more bad weather.... we've got more than enough Chinese thanks very much.

I can’t say the businesses that rely on their (the Chinese) patronage would share your sentiments. Or are you suggesting their are more than enough Chinese tourists because they are in some way offensive?

As a group, they are generally rude, anti social, uneducated, loud and obnoxious, on top of cheap.  Thailand does itself no favors accepting them.  Call that racist if you like, I call it a realistic observation.

Ordinarily I would call that racist. However, your posting history suggests a general disdain for the larger population. For you Chinese is seamlessly interchangeable with humanity. It must have been quite a struggle for you to get to this point, having endured countless social interactions over a life time.

Not really.  I spent 13 years in Taiwan, working and living among the Taiwanese Chinese,  who are as different from Main Land Chinese as chalk is from Cheese.   I still have many Taiwanese friends and the Country was a real alternative for my retirement. The society in Main Land is, for various reasons, quite  toxic.  We see this in that Country's attitude and actions in Tibet and Hong Kong and indeed the constant threats to Taiwan.  I have little time for the place, its government, or, in general,  its people.

Or maybe because TAT as usual were hugely over optimistic with their figures as usual!
