Ouch! The Anti Money Laundering and the Tax Department vultures will make their lives a misery. Every asset must have a paper trail with bank statements and taxes paid or it is subject to seizure or a fine.

So not paying taxes is stealing from the gubbermint? It would be such a shame if those corrupt fiscally incompetent leeches didn’t get their share of your earnings. That said, these scamming gold shop clowns deserve a thorough financial probing sans lube.

No it is stealing from those who pay their fair share and those that rely on what those taxes provide to the good of the community.

Fair point. A community should help itself. I disagree with the idea of “fair share” as I firmly believe governments are appalling custodians of public funds.

Have to be careful buying gold. TBH, I've changed my mind about gold. A while back I thought that buying gold in big blocks was good. Why hold gold? Now I think that little one gramme nuggets are better.

If, as many predict, WW111, get started, gold will come into its own. There will be no internet and the currencies of the world will be rubbish. Silver could be good too; but not in Thailand.

I agree that the governments of the world are appalling custodians of most everything that they touch... that's what happens when merit and responsibility are removed from the equation... DEI fails the very people that it is "supposed" to help.
