This tin-pot General/Minister should be pulled into line - using the media to create PR for himself should be a sackable offence.  The Committee is still debating the issue - and he is not a member.

IMO it should not go ahead except for certain jobs in Bangkok, and designated tourist locations only. There is no way the farmers in Isaan can afford to pay that much for someone to plant or harvest the crops etc etc etc.

The minimum wage should be indexed to the inflation rate through legislation. Doing so would prevent these long winded debates every time wage arbitration rears its head.
