Airport capacity is mainly driven by passenger facilitation capacity, not runway capacity. It's all about terminals, agencies such as customs and immigration and traffic control on the land side. Rarely is lack of runway capacity a determining factor below circa 40 million Pax PY . However, good forward planning by Thailand.

Yes. Just longer lines hours long delays in a packed terminals while TAT brags about passenger numbers
