"The Commander of the Metropolitan Police Bureau 3, Kiattikhun Sonthinain, promised to ensure justice for both parties during an interview with Channel 3."

So police take no action since August (maybe because it was a police officer as the suspect) yet when a news agency gets involved promises of justice are forthcoming. How about disciplining all the officers who SHOULD have dealt with the case and failed to do so. Just more corruption in the Royal Thai Police!

The cops often drag out an issue to extort money and force a compromise with no court involvement on both parties. It is a symptom of the corrupt & lazy RTP not being answerable to anyone and held accountable only by the media. Bad actors thrive under these conditions and it’s why the natives fear the police - they are a law unto themselves.
