A few things needs.....
1. She is 56 yrs old and cannot be a super biker woman riding at high speed
2. What is the side barrier height? Or Was there any secured side barrier?
3. A person cannot be simply flying in the air unless high speed collision or not barrier protection along that stretch of the bridge. 

Anyway, hope she recovers fast and back to normal life soon
