Indeed. However!

I've swapped my bit of fluff yearning for respect of snails and terrapins. After a drop of rain, it is satisfying picking the snails off the road - where they would surely get squashed by a tyre - and putting them in the grass. I wander all over the village doing it.

Better to look after nature than bar girls.
