This is a worthwhile read for people like me who are now officially "elderly" (although I don't think of myself as such).
However, I've noticed issues with by ability to dredge up words out of memory when I'm writing, and that issue is a relatively new phenomenon for me.

I've got a stationary bike so I'm going to start adding interval training into the exercise mix as opposed to just walking.  Why not?  Quality of life is really the issue for most of us as we age, and maintaining mental acuity is a QoL issue for sure.

Exercising oxygenates the body and that includes the brain. My personal philosophy is "soft but regular", never been a fan of intense efforts, but each to their own.
