The Jap was issued a ticket for driving without an international driving permit and the penalty is 500 THB which he already paid to the officer at site to clear the ticket. What is the issue after donkey years? How sure is the Jap about the officer being corrupt? Did the Jap personally see or check? The officer might have paid the fine that he has collected from the Jap to close the ticket as it has been issued. Cannot simply accuse others based on assumptions.

"Chet emphasised that the traffic police would conduct an investigation into the matter and punish the officer even though the issue took place a long time ago. However, Chet has not yet revealed the identity of the officer in the video to the public."

Like he doesn't know that most if not all of his officers routinely 'shake down' foreign tourists and Thai drivers who they think might have any money.

Do you know that Japanese and Japanese Americans find the term "Jxp" to be offensive?

Yeah the cop was so insistent of hiding the cash payment just so he could pay it at the station..
