Red Shirts campaign against Covid vaccine

My wife's 80 year-old mother in Isan, has been convinced by her red shirt neighbors that covid vaccines are the government's attempt to control and kill. They are circulating the information that if you take the government vaccine, you will be dead in two years. She is refusing to get vaccinated. Please investigate this story and put a stop to the disinformation.

This ignorant spreading of misinformation is literally killing people and putting the rest of us at risk. Is there a way to get her to talk to a doctor or healthcare worker she trusts?

She possibly only trusts the Buddhist Monks and her neighbours so hence full of superstitious nonsense so she would never trust a medical professional

Issan people putting red shirts outside their houses to ward off vampires were not of any political party and there was no 'campaign'. Same with vax nonsense beliefs and rumour mongering, there is no campaign by a political faction, they are just various idiots, which you can find even on here,

Indeed........they are obviously in on the conspiracy.

 

A red shirt villager telling someone that the coup/government is poisoning you, along with mistrust of anything coming out of China, does not bode well for full vaccination.

 

Perhaps give 500 Baht for each vaccination  -  that tactic works at election time.

Except there are two major differences.  With the former they tend to believe what people tell them whereas with the latter they convince themselves it is true.

The end game of this is total gov't control. You are forced to take the vaccine to get the vaccine passport. The passport then gets you the social credit score. The social credit score is to get you to obey the gov't and then finally the gov't will control your food, housing and medical care.

That is how this works. We went from 15 days to flatten the curve to you must take the vaccine and show your papers to do anything. In Thailand MILLIONS are being put into debt slavery and poverty. If you wanted to destroy a middle class that might challenge and question your power these lockdowns would be a great way to do it.

You do realize virtually everyone in the hospital dying of Covid in the US today is unvaccinated? So many anti-vax politicians who have died of Covid have spent their last gasping breaths begging people to get vaccinated. How many people do you know who have contracted Polio? Oh yeah, no one, because everyone is vaccinated. This "gov't control" argument comes from news sources that have no credibility. This is a paranoid perspective. The gov't has many FAR better, much more subtle ways to control the population.

As usual they are telling porkies.  Just look at the death/hospitalization figures in other highly-vaxxed countries like Israel or UK, to understand that the US figures are being massaged and simply cannot be correct.  One of the tricks being used is that in US you are only considered vaccinated until 2-weeks after your 2nd shot, and so the partially vaccinated and those in the first 2 weeks after their 2nd shot are lumped in with the unvaccinated.

I do not believe that they are dying of C-19, or even of C-20 or C-21. Even variant delta, gammer or C++ .

They are in hospital - if indeed they are - because of the serious effects of having the jab/shot/injection/therapy.

The figures, and data, everywhere it seems is being manufactured, and interpreted in different ways, depending on which side of the fence one stand.

Fortunately, I'm not on either side.

You are mistaking effect for the cause. It is nearly always cock-up rather than conspiracy IMHO. One big take-away from this pandemic is most leaders are not fit for purpose and are winging it from day to day.

If you actually KNEW it was being manufactured, every national newspaper in the land would pay you very well for that information, but as you haven't got the first clue that it is, we should file that under paranoia.

I know dozens that have had the jab now - none have suffered any side effects at all. How odd!
