News Forum - Thai hotels oppose plan for 75% foreign condo ownership
Currently, over 40,000 hotels operate on online travel agency (OTA) platforms, but only about 15,000 to 16,000 of these are legally registered. The remaining 25,000 are unregistered establishments. This itself indicates that there are no similarities in their establishments. Better let the condo ownership to 75%. At least that will give a boost to the property market which will have some ripple effects in the slowing down of the economy. May be they should invite the property developers and hotel owners for the same meeting and discuss it openly face to face to come to an middle level where both are happy and benefits -

The company provide an online service to travel readers, and they have advertising and revenue streams from readers and contributors. If you believe that an organisation that started awards in 2023 is credible, then that is up toy you. But I dont believe any 'awards' that are published by organisations that receive advertising revenues from vested interests. -

News Forum - Thailand to tax residents’ foreign income irrespective of remittance
Yep - one of many scenarios and even more unanswered questions that TRD will hopefully one day provide clarity about. But as one bloke said a while ago - he thinks they may just let it run its course and get things sorted out in the Appeals Tribunal and Courts, rather than trying to provide an answer to every possible scenario and situation. TRD started to do that in October last year, and they are either still working on it, or have thrown up their hands when realising all the complications this rule change made. -

News Forum - Thailand to tax residents’ foreign income irrespective of remittance
Right now we dont know either way - it all depends on how the TRD implement things. But not worrying about it and dismissing it, is not a wise move - but no need to worry too much either. All will be revealed eventually - it is something to be aware of as it could affect expats who live in Thailand and receive money from/in an overseas country. -
