I for one will not be holding my breath for the 'better safety standards'. This place has been a potential death trap for years, think how high the human death toll might have been if the fire had happened when the market was crammed with tourists and locals.

I never did manage to work that one out - the concept of making merit by releasing an animal that had been captured  to allow people to make merit by releasing it. Apart from people making money out of it.

Only to brought back to captivity again for some animals. May be fishes are exeptional as they are released into ponds again some might end up in the dinner plates also.
