Yeah, they were all for "Don't Touch 112" until their political godfather got charged, and now it's "Hmmm, an amnesty".

How this isn't also an attempt to disable the law by removing it's enforcement defies reason.

Amnesty is not the right word. This is a one off sentence commutation and applicable only to people already sentenced and not under appeal. Thaksin has yet to be found guilty so is ineligible for anything to do with this particular “amnesty”.
