Actually Snap, I think this country has enough plastic already. Most of the rubbish you see is plastic and of course all shop owners have a love affair with plastic bags. I won't get into the environmental argument... I think we've all heard enough of that.- 1

Indeed. However! I've swapped my bit of fluff yearning for respect of snails and terrapins. After a drop of rain, it is satisfying picking the snails off the road - where they would surely get squashed by a tyre - and putting them in the grass. I wander all over the village doing it. Better to look after nature than bar girls.
