I don’t know of another country that is so preoccupied with tourism. It seem like every other week there is a new policy to increase tourism. There are other elements to a functioning economy.

I firmly believe that is because Srettha's government hasn't a clue.

It seems that he jets around the world begging for FDI, while touting Thai tourism, without any truly fundamental changes in the long-term infrastructure that would benefit the country and its citizens for generations to come.

Everything is the short game.  For a man who was touted as a successful businessman before he was named PM, I have yet to see anything substantial that will place Thailand in a more successful growth position than its peers.
