News Forum - RTA denies overpricing claims on mess trays purchase
Actually Snap, I think this country has enough plastic already. Most of the rubbish you see is plastic and of course all shop owners have a love affair with plastic bags. I won't get into the environmental argument... I think we've all heard enough of that. -

Indeed. However! I've swapped my bit of fluff yearning for respect of snails and terrapins. After a drop of rain, it is satisfying picking the snails off the road - where they would surely get squashed by a tyre - and putting them in the grass. I wander all over the village doing it. Better to look after nature than bar girls. -

No... just pointing out the fact that you continually make things up out of thin air and have nothing to support it... lack of experience or comprehension... but nothing none the less. PS... why am I butthurt... I don't recall. -

Future of Pattaya's tourism industry
Pattaya is all set to rebound after Covid and then carry on some. THe demographics have changed - oddly I've seen more backpackers in the last 2 years than in the decade before covid. the Fact remains that Pattaya and its hinterland now gets more visitors than Phuket - and it's still growing exponentially However, when all is said and done, the future may be out of Pattaya's hands - the EEC and accompanying development is going to radically change the whole environment around the area - Pollution will be rampant in air land and sea. Huge amount sofindustry are coming together with the infrastructure. THis will mean better rail and air connections but the people will not be visiting THailand, just a massive conurbation - whether this will be popular, remains to be seen.
