Though stress can cause a miscarriage, the police would have needed to violate her cervix, not merely finger round her vagina, to trigger a miscarriage.

Just wondering why do police personnel have to insert their fingers into her vagina. They can always take her to the nearest hospital and have the vagina clearly inspected by a doctor.
