WHO calls for booster shots to be suspended while poor countries face vaccine shortages

The World Health Organisation has called for the administration of third, or booster doses, of Covid-19 vaccines to be suspended to deal with the huge inequality in global distribution. The organisation says booster shots should be halted until at least the end of September until the inequity in distribution between rich and poor countries is addressed. Ah yes, Tedros the ineffective Director of the department of chocolate teapots. If he spent less time brown nosing around President Xi and took a proactive roll, he might get support. He and his flunkies have been useless from day one.

The third dose is intended for frail people who have not responded well to two doses or who were vaccinated more than 6 months ago with the less protective AstraZeneca.

Europe does not yet have enough dose to vaccinate its entire population.

Europe is the zone which exported the most vaccine in the world ... More than the USA

People in Europe do not understand why we exported so many doses when it takes weeks to have an appointment to be vaccinated for lack of enough vaccines.

The US isn’t exporting vaccines, they are donating them. Huge difference.
