With the BUR vs WAT match having finished 0-0, last night, @BigHewer's @Athleticopoint-grabbing worries came to nothing, with the only top-five points revisions being IM's 1282 and FCM's 1249.

@Lowseasonlover's Rawai FC hold onto their W23 top-score of 49 but, with W24 just around the corner, I think 'hold on to your hats!' might be a good call !

Couldn’t come fast enough. My bench wasn’t far off my starting XI points-wise.

It’s been a while since the last update and there some interesting moves afoot in our FPL competition. @Athleticostill leading the pack, with mystery member Dr. Evil snapping at his heels, just 14 points behind. Meanwhile, my team Pasar Rebo FC is slowly sliding into mid-table mediocrity. Kudos to @Benroon, who topped the pops for the third time this season with a fine score of 70. Game week 25 Top 6 in full (team, GW points, overall rank, game weeks won):

So folks, Game week 27 behind us now and some interesting moves in the leaderboard. The top five players seem entrenched in their positions, a bit like the Premier League itself in many seasons. Still a long way to go, though. @Athletico still top of the pops, but the mystery player I most fear, Dr. Evil, is not far behind. Personally, I believe Dr. Evil is Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and that’s why he can’t post on the forum. Top 6 in full (team, GW points, overall rank, game weeks won):

No, no offence at all . . . just the opposite, in fact, since my initial reading of your post saw that word - pretty surely, I thought - as 'colourful', with me actually thinking that you must have made some sort of special effort to avoid your normal US spelling, only to see the post, minutes later, with its 'colorful' element, and me left wondering whether (a) my initial 'colourful' reading was an intriguing bit of subliminal thinking and seeing, or (b) whether you had, in fact, altered it!

Well I’m glad you for one see the good in me KC . I’ve been brow-beaten over 20+ years in a country where British spelling is regarded as “wrong”. Even vocabulary… I say apartment, ketchup, subway, elevator, faucet etc not “the others”. 

A tad off-topic, but this is the Fantasy Football thread, where fantasies abound. 

My fantasy this week is a hat trick for Salah, goal and assist for Neves, Kane, Dennis and Raphinha. And that Dr.Evil captains Lacazette and he scores an own goal.

Not many of those things will come to pass, but here’s hoping.

With barely time to catch our breath since the W27 update, here are the W28 numbers, most notable of which is mystery member, As Above So below, getting the week's top-score of 116 and even though it was, for many clubs, a double game week, that is some score!

Also noticeable is @BigHewer's Pasar Rebo FC squad regaining 3rd place, no doubt to the odd grimace or two from @Benroon's Inter MiNan . . . kudos to all you front-runners.
