Reading between the lines the Government are looking to earn more money from canabis than they do at the moment.

That seems to be the underlying consideration of absolutely everything from Srettha's administration.  They keep proposing spending tons of money they don't have.

I think some regulation should be in place but if they enforced what is already supposed to be policy, it should be sufficient.

Their fear mongering when cannabis was first decriminalized never came to be, no matter how many times they kept warning society about the dangers.  Alcohol presents far more problems, especially among youth.
