Coming from the country of food scandals, fake food, and where soil pollution, groundwater pollution, and coastal water pollution are at record levels globally, this is quite entertaining.

With all the food inspections and hygiene reports that street food vendors have to undergo here I find it hard to believe there are unsanitary conditions! Everyone knows wearing a glove for example means you do not have to wash your hands.......Washing dishes in the street is proper technique......storing food at ambient temperatures reduces pathogens.......

"Many Chinese netizens shared their experiences of suffering from food poisoning after eating in Thailand, and some shared their opinions that Thai food was not as clean as food in China."

To be honest, the only people that care about nonsense like this are the ones that believe the financial security of the nation depends on the almighty Chinese yuan coming into the country.

Thais are extremely thin-skinned when it comes to the "tourism reputation" perceived by others, almost as thin skinned as the Chinese if you criticize ANYTHING from their country or the actions of it.

If it were a night market beside the ocean and not around polluted southern BKK then maybe its ok. Consuming any raw seafood should be approached with caution unless you know its fresh & has been stored correctly. Strange that a Chinese person complains about this given their own levels of hygiene and protein source which has no limits!
