Please build it along the border cities of Malaysia and make it easier access to tourists visting there. Thailand can really make a fortune out of it. The ideal place would be Betong and Sadao. This will definetly boost the revenue along the border cities.

You have to admit that it is AMAZING here! The government wants to ban recreational marijuana though NOBODY has ever died from smoking it. I have never lost a job or house due to usage. Gambling though has destroyed many people, families, and resulted in suicides over losses. This is the path for economic growth? I suppose the great levels of transparency that the government utilises will insure there is no corruption involved. This is an elitist gambit-most Thai people do not make enough money that they can afford gambling losses......

Perhaps they expect an immediate influx of James Bond-type falang who are willing to drop thousands of baht each and every night when the probable outcome is going to be dad getting a couple of drinks under his belt and losing what little money he has been paid for whatever work he has managed to secure. As for the banning of marijuana, I don't think this will ever happen as long as Nu holds a parliamentary position - he would be liable to massive investment losses.
