Well, here we are at quiz #250. In this latest one, you'll see five posters from movies made in or associated with Thailand. How much do you know? And how many of these have you seen? Good luck and enjoy, folks.

Great idea, and would love to participate except for the fact that my footy knowledge is 'somewhat below par'.  When I read that Arsenal 'was kicking butt', my local pharmacist here was somewhat taken aback when I tried ordering that new hemorrhoids ointment...

Bill Nicholson was offered the position as Spurs manager on the morning of October 11th, 1958. That very day, in the top flight English League, Everton (blue half of Liverpool) were the visitors to White Hart lane. Plenty of goals.  6-1 at the HT break.  What was the score at the final whistle?

Without looking, I'd say 8-3... whatever happened, a goal fest :)

Would be good if we had an active footy-minded community, though it seems like it's just the two of us..

Perhaps with the upcoming changes we might take in some more interest

I was thinking for the future. A vibrant footy forum would be great. Where to put the footy quiz BH; if it gets started?

In the sports sub forum I would say. Would be good to have some more footy banter.

10-4 - 14 goals quite the game eh. This weekend just gone not far behind.

As for the rock climbing, well. My very first full time job was as a parks guide and I did my share of rock climbing in those 4 years. Used to be fit as a butcher’s dog, now I’m quite pleased to make it up a long flight of stairs.

On the movie front, I’ve seen #1, 2 and 5. #2 is no doubt the best one; #5 got panned by the critics, but I really enjoyed it. Reminder of my younger days…

3 out of 5.  I've only seen the Bridge movie... Kanchanaburi didn't look like that at all!
