Quiz #249 - Everyone knows that Thailand used to be known as Siam, but what of other old names in Thailand? In this quiz, we're taking a look at some renamed locations and what they were called before. Some tricky ones here, but a few interesting tidbits as well. Enjoy, folks.

But wasn't the first time 'Thailand' was suggested to replace 'Siam' was in 1932? And it was made official internationally in 1948.

Never mind; got it correct.

Officially changed by decree / mandate in 1939.

I don’t know when the new name was suggested. could well have been ‘32 with all the upheavals that year.
