I won an award for a photo - when it was all about film - of a guy almost to the top of a coconut tree in The Gambia. The tree was best part of 50 metres tall. I was so lucky with the shot. It was into the sun, but the sun was behind the tree and showed the outline of the guy climbing up with just a belt keeping him up there.

Got another great shot of boats moored in a small cove in Negril. Shot at night during a particularly active thunderstorm. Had a motor drive on the camera, and out of a few dozen shots there was just one that caught the lightning light just perfect.
