No, they  most likely won't receive 27.3 million baht.

How is a 23-year-old (former?) policeman going to come up with that amount, even in his lifetime?  Just months ago his prison sentence was extended to more than five years.

Well...it is for the file to close the case. Later the parents have to file another case down the years to demand the money.....which of course is not going to be settled.....forever

It’s sad that Justice will never be served in this case. The life of a young doctor “stolen” by an arrogant, entitled criminal wearing “brown”.  The money judgment is meaningless, and will never be fully compensated.
