So lets get this straight a mother accepted money rather than having the rapist who raped her 13 year old daughter reported for the offence and prosecuted........................What a great mom!

The guy does eventually get reported for yet another offence of molesting the same girl and the police do nothing for 10 months.........................Guessing some brown envelopes involved there then.

"Pranom reassured Cat and her daughter that he would undertake a comprehensive investigation into the matter and ensure they received appropriate compensation."..............Once again it seem like money will be offered to make this crime against a 13 year old girl go away.

No mention at all in the story of any investigations into why after 10 months the Royal Thai Police have taken no action

 

All in all what a sad indictment of the lack of any justice for victims of crime even when they are children in Thailand.
