Kind of laughable that they mention Yala (one of the 3 insurgent provinces in the South) in this article, as this industrial estate is in the heart of Songkhla, west of Hat Yai, and nowhere near Yala, or Pattani or Narathiwat.

There are plenty of reasons that companies don't want to locate in those three, aside from the threat of violence.
