Unfortunately, the improving health of the airlines is unlikely to be matched with much of a drop in ticket prices - can't really blame them, they are in the business of making money after all. Over-capacity was what was keeping prices low pre-covid, and that is unlikely to make a comeback any time soon.

At least for us here in Vancouver it's the loss of some low cost airlines(the mainland China carriers) that have now kept the prices so much higher

 

 

The mainland China carriers were extremely low priced so it kept down all the other carriers to decent levels

 

Once they never came back after covid, prices to/from Asia to Vancouver have remained high 

 

 

PS..Flying to/from US to/from Canada is at some of the lowest prices I have seen
