You say "end of the day it is one wanted to live happily "

I had thick black hair and have gone balding and grey

Went to see a hair transplant doctors in BKK

At the end of the day, I just didn't care enough

But if I had all the money in the world and a doctor had proven results to bring back my former hair style.....I would absolute do it

I don't think it's as phylisophical as you make it out to be.....

  • Haha 1

Plenty of baldies have made it to the top of their tree. Duncan Goodhew. Right said Fred, Richie Allen, that Skin singer. Richie Sunak. My younger brother.

I'm all for hair. But it's just like money. Can have too much; or not enough.

You are what you are.

I won't die my graying hair. I won't replace it when it's gone. I won't have a comb over or wear a rug.

That's for vanity and I don't have a lot of that, when it come to my hair.  It is what it is.

Right now, it's nice and long and pulled back in a pony tail, kind of like when I was a rock n' roll radio dj...but it wasn't gray then.

I laugh at, and feel sorry for, men that have obviously died their hair to appear young, when nothing about them says young.  I laugh at people with obvious fake rugs because they look ridiculous.  I laugh at comb overs because it's so obvious.

Just accept what you have, or have lost and live.

But that really isn't what the article was about.....

It's about the rich of the rich having access to treatment that avoid everything you just mentioned above

And for a lot of them, it's a financial matter as much as any vanity

They would get more acting roles and advertising but remaining to look younger......

As for your own hair

Couldn't people say you choosing to keep your hair long is vanity as well?

Or couldn’t people think you look ridiculous as an older guy with long hair?

That wasn't a shot at you or your hair

Just pointing out at who cares what you choose to do with your hair, as long as you like it

I think vanity and being vain is how we want to be seen by other people.  I don't give a fig whether they think anything of my long hair, approve or disapprove of it.  I don't wear it long now for them but for me.

Yeah you wear it that way because you like it

Same as anyone else doing whatever they want with their hair

Who cares....

We may not think it's great

They may not think our hair choice is great
