I love the choice of words here Puntid. Nice. But what about another measure, the simplest of them all:

* Effective Deterrence Penalties: You are caught overcharging? The first time, 5,000 baht minimum fine. The second time, you lose your license.

It would be good if the big hotels had an anonymous hotline they could call 

 

Although some working at the hotel may be getting a cut 

 

 

You walk out of Sheraton on the riverside and the whole street is lined up with taxis that won't turn on metre

 

It's just such a bad look

 

 

We never have an issue because we call grab or the hotel usually gets us a metred taxi quickly
