Who wants to bet the same officers fining the 'rich' farangs for causing danger will have passed hundreds of Thai motorcyclists doing the same only probably with 3 or 4 people including kids on their motorcycles and not a crash helmet on any heads.

Don't get me wrong I think they should be fined for breaking the road traffic laws but I think then that the road traffic laws should be policed for ALL people using the roads equally Farang or Thai.

I am sure the local dentists would be delighted if more people rode unicycles.

I think I know one of these blokes. Lives in the same condo as me. As coincidence would have it I was talking to him only yesterday about his Segway/Unicycle. He said, he had only ever crashed it once- when he was drunk. Said they take a couple of hours of riding to get the hang of. And mentioned he paid 50,000 baht for it, from a shop in BKK. Which begs the question, if they aren’t approved for road use, why are they on sale to the general public?
