This curve is basically a mad gamble with your life. Some have gotten away with it, on several occasions too, only for others to have to pay the price and momentarily quench the curves insatiable bloodthirst. There used to be talks of having a ferry take motorists round it. I guess even that was just too hazardous. Too sudden.
