It baffles me why the airlines responsible for hundreds of lives don’t have non lethal weapons for dealing with unruly passengers. A dose of the Edison medicine would encourage anyone to return to their seat.

Because they are not trained in their use, would no doubt get sued to the ends of the Earth and would not,. could not, be responsible for any unknowing side effects that may ensue. They are not medicos and don't pretend to be.  Neither are they 6 foot 6, 300lb Line Backers.

In the UK a TASER is classed as a firearm, and yes, they can be extremely dangerous if used on someone that has a heart condition.
