My dog is 13yrs old and I am done with vets for the rest of his life (I do need to take him for his regular vaccines so he can travel/groomers) I think 90% of vets are money hungry that push needless procedures and medications And half of them don't know anything My dog has a common issue in big dogs called Largyenal Paralysis I diagnosed him myself with research and my vets kept saying it wasn't until he finally needed surgery Last month he was gagging all day Took him to hospital and they gave him 2 injections He lost control of his back legs 2 hours later and all 4 legs the next day The hospital insisted it couldn't be the injections I stopped all follow-up medication and he could gradually walk once all the injections were flushed out of his system -
