Thai isn't. democracy and this is a giant leap back a century or 2 - one has to be seriously concerned about who is actually running the country.

Shows how you can win the peoples vote in the election and then be sidelined and possibly even removed by the old guard. Until there is a clean sweep at the top there is little chance of real change in Thai politics, I think.

Democracy only exists as concept. It’s a sliding scale of more democratic and less democratic. And the contention that democracy is the best form of government is largely unsolved.

Read my posts - you made a false dichotomy. Thailand is nowhere near a true democracy, but many people on this thread have no idea what a democracy is or how a democracy works
