I used to drive like a jerk on the MB

After my last wipe out in Samui with ko helmet and sliding about 30 metres on the ground 

I really think I could have died

Slow and steady for me now.....

Although it should've have taken that spill for me to slow down

May be you should consider RE classic 350. No matter how hard you trottle, it will not go faster than 90km per hour.....slow and steady.
