It’s going to be important if the mainland courts recognize the HK liquidation order or not as most of the assets are in China. 

Fact is Evergrande has been bankrupt for years now. They lack the assets and revenue to have any chance at reorganization. The fact the mainland courts haven’t ordered a liquidation to date is political. Not saying the CCP doesn’t have a good reason to postpone it, just saying as far as Evergrande is concerned it doesn’t make sense.
