"Disturbingly, six of the fatalities had never received a vaccine, while five others had completed their two-dose vaccination schedule."

So what does it indicates?

That 6 people are antivaxxers, the 5 others stopped vaccinating after 2 shots.

And no one bothers to mention, which 2 shots they got and when was the last one. Or if they had infections before.

Which might just be like not vaxxed at all, imho, if they did not get them in 2023 or in case it was astra or sinovac or such.

Ah, my microwave dinged: popcorn is ready!

It means that the immunity provided by the 2 doses was inadequate, most likely because the new variant is very different than the original strain and a booster is required.  Not mentioned is what the underlying health conditions and age of the deceased were. I would expect that all were age 60+ with chronic health condition.

And yes, I expect that  Thailand will experience a new explosion of infections. The foreign tourists brought in the new variants when they came for their holidays.

On the other hand, I anticipate that the mentally ill brigade will soon arrive to advise that this is  just hype.

The protection drops off  considerably after six months or so, and there are new mutations coming along all time. My take is treat it like flu jabs - get an annual booster each year.

The vaccines don't work. Healthy people have nothing to worry about.

And  you arrived at your conclusion after a close review of the medical exams of the 11 deceased?

Well id say a 50/50 chance of risking a heart issue versus no chance of a heart issue and still being 50/50

It means the vax does not work, simple. if it worked like polio, mumps, measles, it would work, get over the pretending it ever worked, it doesnt.

Some vaccines give lifelong protection against the risks, some only a few months,  some a few years - it depends on the disease and the vaccine. The mRNA COVID-19 vaccines work, but like flu vaccines the effectiveness drops off quite quickly,  partly due to the way that the virus mutates rapidly.

Well with covid deaths, the average age of the covid death was greater than the average lifetime.  I somehow missed the ages of those who died here.  Were they young and healthy, or were they frail and elderly?  Might as well give out dengue death stats, flu stats and compare them to covid deaths of the elderly.

I seem to recall a paper out of Thailand that showed young men had heart issues that were easy to spot via clinical tests after covid injections. If you were a parent, would you want your son to face a 50% chance of having heart issues as the paper showed, or would you rather have your son face a 1 in 100.000 chance of dying from covid?

I get it there are a lot of blue hairs who are worried about covid here who are nothing but blind sheep loons following the narrative.

I had open heart surgery done in 2003 and I had a artificial heart valve and a aneurysm removed and I had complications from the first surgery and was rushed back into surgery for bleeding from the graft and then I got a staph infection and went back for a third surgery and I was in the hospital for a month. When Covid came out I was very scared and I wanted to get the vaccine but was not allowed and had to wait and then you hear about all of the cardiac issues and I decided that I didn’t want to gamble with my heart valve so I’m not vaccinated and I have never had Covid

I arrived at my conclusion after seeing droves of quadruple-jabbed people repeatedly catching Covid.

The data does not support your claim. An estimated 5 1/2 billion people received a covid vaccine. According to you, 2.75 billion developed heart issues.  Are you able to back up that claim? If you are correct we should have seen hundreds of millions of deaths from the vaccine.

In respect to the  most effective vaccine class, the mRNA vaccine, an estimated 1.6% of people in the first group of vaccinated  were estimated to have experienced myocarditis.  The condition was most often with  the Moderna vaccine young males with a robust immune response. The revised protocol of waiting between the two doses slashed this  event. And once identified, the adverse event is easily treated by anti inflammatory and steroid medication and quickly resolves following treatment.

Yes, some people had serious adverse reactions. A small number of people may have died, although there is no reliable documentation of deaths. (There are many allegations, guesses and claims, but no conclusions with certainty.)  However, the ADRS were typically associated with people with underlying genetic defects and health conditions. The reality is that the vaccinations saved tens of millions of lives.  In the USA, the  Commonwealth Fund released an unchallenged study that estimated "'From December 2020 through November 2022, the COVID-19 vaccination program in the U.S. prevented more than 18.5 million additional hospitalizations and 3.2 million additional deaths. Without vaccination, there would have been nearly 120 million more COVID-19 infections. The vaccination program also saved the U.S. $1.15 trillion (Credible Interval: $1.10 trillion–$1.19 trillion) (data not shown) in medical costs that would otherwise have been incurred."

The mRNA  vaccines have had one of the lowest rates of serious ADRs of any modern vaccine.

The data shows that it does work. Polio, mumps, measles are in no way similar to Covid. Coronavirus disease 2019,  is in fact a deadly SARS infection - Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. It has very different characteristics than the diseases you reference. It also has a greater likelihood of a fatal outcome. Preventing death is the primary goal of the vaccine closely followed by reducing the likelihood of hospitalization. In that respect, the Covid  mRNA vaccines have been very successful.  The people who have suffered from long covid  have been for the most part the unvaccinated. You don't  want to be vaccinated. Fine. Don't. Just do on the basis of your own beliefs and not on the nonsense that has been spewed by  nutters and presented as fact.

How about sticking to the facts that I refuted and not tossing out another imagined conspiracy.

Were they diagnosed as having Covid and not a seasonal respiratory illness? The RSVs have  had an explosive exponential  impact over the past 18 months.

Were these people that were at high risk, such as being aged 60+, smokers, having underlying  chronic conditions such as respiratory disease, cardiac disease, diabetes, etc.

How many of these people were  hospitalized and for how long?

How many died?

here's a reality check. Yes, the vaccinated can and do contract Covid. being vaccinated reduces the likelihood of  long term complications,  hospitalization and death.

Have you considered that had these people not been vaccinated, they most likely would have been hospitalized or died?

You are right. It is why I have refrained from responding on other threads for several days. waste of time. I will stop again. nothing anyone can say will convince them otherwise. However, it is annoying seeing the misinformation and the constant claims of conspiracy.

Well it sounds like you have taken into account what seemed to have been completely forgotten the past 4 years: the individual Risk/Benefit balance. You weighed both and estimated that you have more risk than benefit, decision you made on your own, that is what every individual should do. In the UK for example, covid and flu vaccines are nowadays recommended when you are over 65 or have a weak immune system, so the Risk/Benefit balance for everybody else is very clear. We have never had mass vaccinated populations with flu vaccines ever, we did with covid though, a forced one for so many, we completely put aside the Risk/Benefit balance although the median age of death for covid from the start was over 80 years old, similar to flu. And why did we? Well this is everyone's guess...

Sensible people know all of the conspiracy stuff is nonsense, for the anti-vaxxers it just reinforces their belief that they are right.

For their conspiracies to be true, every doctor, scientist, and pharmaceutical company in the world, Oxford University, and all the other universities would have to be in on it, it is just pure madness, but they do make me laugh. 😃

The problem is that at the height of the engineered psychosis, people such as myself suffered State-backed persecution for refusing to receive the experimental inoculation. That was the only issue. Fragile people who wanted to take it were never the big issue.
