BS.  I live some 12km from the airport, almost on it's flight path,  I hardly notice the aircraft noise, unless its RTAF F16s.  The direct flight path is well outside the confines of Ban Chang and nowhere near Rayong.

You live 12km from the the flight path which for landings come in over the 332 road near it junction with sukhumvit road, the take off flight path runs over the beach, they then bank and come back over Thanan pla road,  phala and over the top of eastern star and the 7 road extension, all of which is in Rayong province,

your 12km account does not compare to my 2km distance, the noise is bearable. but there are hardly any flights, there are about 10 flights in and 10 out of UTP daily on average, if it gets to the level they are planning, it will become very noisy, the RTAF  jets are the loudest, as are some of the RTAF transporters,

I am not complaining as i only get the noise after take off, not on landing but i can appreciate what others are hearing
