Instead of applying for a normal tourist visa, people who wanna train Muay Thai should apply for a specific visa, with the need for special papers from the Muay Thai camps, I assume? But don`t get any time benefit?

Many gyms have offered to sign papers for educational visas for students to come learn Muay Thai for many years already, but the criteria for approval is vague and undefined, and some people who were training on educational visas have had the visa revoked if they were paid for fighting.

Since this is a tourist visa, I would imagine the same dubious criteria may be selectively applied. I think there needs to be an exemption on earning money as a fighter if you're there for Muay Thai since there is practically no such thing as amateur fighting in Thailand.
